FIFA Collect – Migration FAQ 

As FIFA Collect evolves, we are migrating the platform to the FIFA Blockchain, an EVM-compatible blockchain. This upgrade will support better performance, future features, and improved scalability. Below you’ll find answers to key questions about the migration. 

1. What’s happening to FIFA Collect? 

FIFA Collect is upgrading its infrastructure and migrating to the FIFA Blockchain, a new EVM-compatible infrastructure. This will enable new product features, performance improvements, and long-term growth. 

2. What happens to my current assets?  

If you’ve previously purchased digital collectibles on FIFA Collect, they will be in your collection on FIFA Blockchain 

3. Do I need to do anything right now? 

At this stage, no immediate action is required. When the migration process begins, we will provide clear, step-by-step instructions on what (if anything) you need to do. 

4. Will there be any changes to how I access or use my collectibles? 

The core experience will remain the same. You’ll still be able to access your collection by logging into your FIFA Collect account. However, some new features may be introduced over time as part of the upgrade. 

5. What are the benefits of this new blockchain? 

We will share more technical details soon. The FIFA Blockchain was created to support new experiences, enable wallet compatibility, and provide stronger foundations for future innovation. 

6. Will there be fees involved in the migration? 

No. You will not need to pay anything to migrate your existing collectibles.  

7. When will the migration take place? 

Not earlier than May 20th, 2025. We will notify you with the confirmed go-live date and clear instructions 

8. I’ve exported my Collectibles from the platform — do I need to do anything? 

Yes. You must reimport them before May 20th, 2025 to include them in the migration. Import will be re-enabled temporarily for this purpose. 
After that, manual migration will be possible only via customer support and may require additional verification. 

9. What happens to my balance (USDC)? 

You will be able to spend your balance until the migration date, and you will be able to still withdraw your balance, but not spend it, after the migration 

10. Will there be a downtime? 

Yes. During the migration, the platform will be temporarily unavailable for approximately 12 hours. We will notify all users in advance once the exact timing is confirmed. 

11. Can I continue using my external wallet (e.g., Pera or Defly) after the migration? 

After the migration, Pera, Defly, and other Algorand-based wallets will no longer be supported You’ll instead be able to connect to FIFA Collect using MetaMask or any EVM wallet that supports WalletConnect 

12. What happens to listed collectibles? 

Listed collectibles will be automatically listed in the new platform unless delisted by the user before the migration date.
