What is a Right-to-Ticket?
A Right-to-Ticket collectible is your right to claim an official FIFA World Cup 2026™ ticket for the specific match and category indicated on the collectible.

Can Right-to-Tickets be traded?
Right-to-Tickets are tradable on the FIFA Collect Marketplace with a 15% resale fee.
Trading restrictions apply to Mexican residents, who are able to trade their RTTs for the same primary value these collectibles were acquired for.
Overview of the RTT Conversion Process
The conversion portal for FIFA World Cup 2026™ Right-to-Tickets (RTTs) will open in mid-May. Through this portal, you will be able to assign your RTTs to yourself and other attendees, converting them into official match tickets. Please remember that all conversions must adhere to standard FIFA Ticketing rules, including a maximum of 4 tickets per match per household and 40 tickets per tournament per household. Please refer to the official ticketing rules.
Below are the most frequently asked questions to help guide you through the conversion process.
1. When will I be able to convert my RTTs into match tickets, and what do I need to do?
You will be able to convert your RTTs into match tickets starting from mid-May up until three days before match day for group stage RTTs and two days before match day for knockout stage RTTs.
To convert your RTT into a match ticket, you will need to:
- Assign each RTT to the person that will be attending the match by entering their details in the dedicated conversion portal that will launch with the start of conversion. You will be asked to enter their name, last name, and an email address. The email address can be your own and serves to determine where the match tickets will be delivered.
- Once you have entered your attendees' details, you will be then asked to confirm them and finalise your conversion.
- You will then get a confirmation email with your conversion details, and you will need to download the FIFA World Cup 2026™ App (available on the App Store and Google Play Store).
- Once FIFA begins to issue tickets, your match tickets will appear in that app.
IMPORTANT: When registering on the FIFA World Cup 2026™ App, use the same email address entered when assigning your RTTs.
Note: Before converting make sure you have opened all your packs that contain RTTs. Unopened RTTs will not be convertible until opened.
2. Will RTTs remain tradable during the conversion window?
Yes, RTTs will remain tradable up until three days before match day for group stage RTTs, and two days before match day for knockout stage RTTs. However, to assign and convert your RTT to a match ticket, you must first un-list it from the marketplace. Once an RTT has been assigned to an attendee, it will no longer be tradable.
3. How will group seating work? Will my group be seated together?
We will accommodate group seating requests to the best of our abilities, though adjacent seating cannot be guaranteed.
- For RTTs within your own account: Any RTTs converted by you from within your own FIFA Collect account will automatically be treated as a grouped seating request (even if you assign different name(s)/email(s) for the same match as long as they are under the same account). Please remember that all conversions must adhere to standard FIFA Ticketing rules, including a maximum of 4 tickets per match per household and 40 tickets per tournament per household. No further steps are required.
- For minors: When assigning your RTTs, you will need to indicate if the person you are assigning a ticket to is a minor.
- For RTTs held in different accounts: If you wish to sit with another user who holds their own RTTs in a separate FIFA Collect account, you will be sent a form (in the confirmation email after you assign your RTTs) where you can input their FIFA Collect usernames to request grouped seating.
Note: We cannot accommodate group seating requests to sit next to individuals who hold standard tickets not issued via RTT.
The earlier you submit your RTT assignment details, the higher the likelihood that your seating request can be fulfilled.
4. Can I assign multiple RTTs under my own email address for my group, or do I need everyone’s individual email?
You have two options:
- Use your own email: If you hold multiple RTTs for the same match, you may assign all of the attendees under your single email address (FIFA ticketing rules apply). If you do this, all tickets for those attendees will be delivered directly to the FIFA World Cup 2026™ App account registered to your email. You will then be able to transfer the actual ticket from your tournament app to the person attending.
- Use individual emails: You may enter a different email address for each attendee. In this case, each person must later register for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ App using the exact email address you provided to receive their individual ticket.
5. What happens if I don’t know who I’m bringing yet? Can I put my own name and email on all of them for now?
If you're unsure who you're bringing, you can assign the tickets to yourself, and then once converted into the actual ticket, you can transfer them through the FIFA app to the attendee.
6. Do the attendees I bring need to create a FIFA Collect account?
No, your guests do not need a FIFA Collect account. Furthermore, if you assign their ticket under your own email address, they do not need to download anything. However, if you assign the ticket using their individual email address, they will need to download and register on the official FIFA World Cup 2026™ App using that exact email address to receive their ticket.
7. Will my guests be notified when I assign an RTT to their email address?
As the FIFA Collect user who owns the RTTs, you will receive a confirmation email from FIFA Collect with details on each assigned RTT. You can consider sharing these details with other attendees you assign tickets to, as they will not receive an email on our behalf. They will receive the actual match ticket in their FIFA World Cup 2026™ App, provided the email address entered matches the one they use to register for the app. Once the match ticket is delivered to the app, they will receive an email and push notification from FIFA.
8. What is the FIFA World Cup 2026™ App?
The FIFA World Cup 2026™ App is the official mobile application (downloadable on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store) that serves as the secure digital hub for your match tickets. You will use that app to present your tickets at the stadium entry for all World Cup 2026™ matches. All match tickets converted from RTTs will be delivered to and accessed exclusively through this app. When registering on the app, it must be with the same email address used when assigning the RTTs as that is where tickets will be sent (if you assigned your tickets to your own email address, use the same one when registering on the FIFA World Cup 2026™ app; if you assign it to someone else with their email, they will need to register with that same email).
9. Are there any additional steps to complete in advance to ensure I receive my tickets?
There are no additional steps needed to convert your RTTs into match tickets. Complete the RTT conversion process (which will begin in mid-May) before the deadline indicated in point 1 and ensure you have an account registered on the FIFA World Cup 2026™ app with the corresponding email you've used when assigning your RTTs. Rest reassured we will be sending emails over time to guide you through the process.
