RTB Conversion Process

·      Timing: the RTB conversion window will be kicked off in November of 2025, the exact date will be communicated in the coming weeks. A 2-week notice will be given prior to kick-off. The total duration of the conversion window will be of 18 days.

·      RTB Digital Collectible Tickets: fans will be able to convert their RTB(s) into Digital Collectible Ticket(s), this will require full payment of the ticket(s) value in order to exercise your right.

·      Digital Collectible Ticket: this is your guaranteed ticket allowing you to attend the World Cup for the specific match mentioned on the Digital Collectible Ticket. We are working on getting sign-off to make them tradable on the FIFA Collect marketplace (note: it may imply a higher fee vs the current 5%), this will be confirmed ASAP and in either case at least before the 2-week notice. Trading restrictions may apply to Mexican resident in line with guidance provided by the local consumer protection authority, this will be confirmed along with tradability.

·      Issuance: digital Collectible Tickets will be issued as a single unit, meaning that a converted group phase RTB will trigger the issuance of two Digital Collectible Tickets, this is done to improve clarity and tradability as single units.

·      Final tickets: in May/June holders of Digital Collectible Tickets will be able to convert them into actual tickets which will be issued in the FIFA tournament app as per previous tournaments. These tickets will be holdable and transferable in compliance with FIFA ticketing rules. Fans will be able to assign tickets to multiple people during conversion. The email does not have to match the one of the FIFA Collect account.

·      Transferable vs tradable: final tickets will be transferable according to rules set by FIFA ticketing. These tickets will NOT be tradable on FIFA ticketing marketplace.

·      Seating preferences: seating preference will be addressed at issuance of final tickets, we are already working with ticketing to be able to address preference, and we will also be adding a special access category. This will be set up in a way that can accommodate groups larger than 4. Seating preferences will be addressed within FIFA Collect allocation, we do not have control over VISA Pre-sale draw tickets seat assignment.

·      Categories: we will make both CAT1 and CAT2 available, and in limited cases also CAT3. This depends very much on the stadium configuration and the allocation received. The distribution across categories is CAT1 70%, CAT2 28%, and CAT3 2%. Category inventory availability will be visible when you are picking the category for your RTB conversion. We understand this is far from the equal split the community demands, we are passing this message to ticketing and we will hopefully be able to offer a more balanced distribution across categories.

·      Pricing of tickets will be provided by FIFA ticketing in line with the ones offered during the VISA pre-sale draw, we are working to ensure that this pricing is the most convenient for the FIFA Collect community. FIFA ticketing applies variable pricing, and therefore our final prices may be higher/lower than the reference price of certain tickets at a given stage of the pre-sale draw. FIFA Collect prices will stay flat (ie not dynamic) during the duration of the whole conversion process.

·      Payment options will be credit card and USDC. We may be able to add a few additional payment options, if that happens, we will add them in due course and notify the community.

·      Holding limitations: there is no limit for digital ticket collectibles, nevertheless users will need to comply with FIFA ticketing guidelines when it comes to the conversion of these digital ticket collectibles into actual tickets. Limitations are maximum of four tickets per household for each match, and no more than 40 tickets in total for the entire FIFA World Cup 26™. Please refer to the official ticketing rules: https://gpcustomersupportfwc2026.tickets.fifa.com/hc/en-gb/articles/30193212871709-7-What-is-the-maximum-number-of-tickets-that-I-can-purchase

·      Conversion phases: it will have different phases which will allow some fans to pick their preferred category ahead of others:

-              Phase 0 – synced with Phase 1: all RTBs will be made untradable, notice will be given 2 weeks ahead of this happening

-              Phase 1 - duration 48h: Black VIP Card holders will have exclusive access to this phase

-              Phase 2 - duration 48h: Holders of any badge of completion (excluding club drops) OR top 30 general leaderboard (OR Black VIP Card holders) will have exclusive access to this phase

-              Phase 3 - duration 14 days: all other collectors will be able to convert their RTB

·      Additional conversion window: Current RTB holders can convert their RTB during the November (pre team draw) window. There may be further issuance of RTBs after the conversion window kick-off. Should that be the case, a new conversion window(s) will be created specifically for those newly issued RTBs and communicated.

·      Conversion technical details: in order to be able to convert, fans will need to burn their RTBs. This will be doable during the conversion process or prior to it, as burnt RTBs will be eligible for conversion.

·      FIFA Collect House: the location will most likely be New York City, co-located with FIFA House.

·      Right To Final (RTF) conversion: these will be converted close to the actual game, once semifinals are over. There will be an express process allowing a fast conversion and ticket issuance, and RTB will remain tradable during the tournament until conversion.

·      Collect 11: we stand by the vision shared with Collect 11, and we are working on making this an exciting and rewarding activation pillar during the tournament. Should there not be additional drops of RTBs, additional player positions will be dropped as collectible drops, or associated with additional plans we have for the platform.

Important notice: once the conversion process is over, RTBs will no longer be convertible into tickets, will no longer be tradable, and will hold no value, other than the collectible side or the burn points associated with it.
