    How to Transfer Eligible Assets From an External Wallet to Your New FIFA Collect Account

    If you created a new FIFA Collect account because your previous private key may be compromised, you can transfer eligible assets (collectibles + USDC) from an external wallet (e.g., MetaMask) to your new FIFA Collect wallet address, as long as you still have access to the original wallet/private key that holds the assets. 

    Before You Start 

    You will need: 

    • ✅ Your old wallet private key (the one that still controls the assets) 

    • ✅ MetaMask (or another self-custody wallet that supports custom networks) 

    • ✅ Your new FIFA Collect wallet address (destination address) 

    • ✅ Network fees (“gas”): 

    • Collectibles (NFTs): need the FIFA Blockchain gas token 

    • USDC: needs AVAX for transaction fees (because USDC is on Avalanche) 

     

    Step 1 — Find Your New FIFA Collect Wallet Address (Destination) 

    1. Log in to your new FIFA Collect account. 

    1. Go to Profile → Wallet / Security (where the wallet details are displayed). 

    1. Copy your wallet address. 

    1. Save it somewhere safe for the next steps. 

    Double-check you’re logged into the new account before copying the address. 

     

    Step 2 — Import Your Old Wallet Into MetaMask 

    This step lets you access the assets that are currently controlled by your old private key. 

    1. Open MetaMask. 

    1. Choose Import account (or “Add account” → “Import”). 

    1. Select Private Key import. 

    1. Paste your old private key and confirm. 

    ⚠️ Security warnings (important): 

    • Only paste your private key into the official MetaMask app/extension. 

    • Never share your private key with anyone. 

    • Avoid importing your private key on a public/shared computer. 

    • If you suspect malware/phishing, consider using a safer device first. 

     

    Step 3 — Add the Networks You’ll Need 

    Your assets are split across two networks: 

    • Collectibles (NFTs) → on the FIFA Blockchain 

    • USDC balance → on Avalanche 

    3A) Add FIFA Blockchain to MetaMask 

    1. In MetaMask, go to Networks → Add network. 

    1. Add the FIFA Blockchain network details: 

    1. Network name 

    1. RPC URL 

    1. Chain ID 

    1. Currency symbol 

    1. Block explorer URL

    3B) Ensure Avalanche Is Available 

    MetaMask usually supports Avalanche, but you may need to add it if it’s missing: 

    1. Networks → Add network → choose Avalanche (or add it manually with official details). 

     

    Step 4 — Transfer Your Collectibles (NFTs) to Your New FIFA Collect Wallet 

    To transfer collectibles on the FIFA Blockchain, you will need the FIFA Blockchain gas token. 

    4A) Request FIFA Blockchain Gas Token

    If your external wallet has 0 gas token, you won’t be able to move NFTs. 

    • Contact FIFA Collect Support and request a small amount of FIFA Blockchain gas token to be sent to your old wallet address (the one you imported into MetaMask). 

    Once you receive gas, you can proceed with the transfer. 

    4B) Switch MetaMask to FIFA Blockchain 

    1. In MetaMask, select FIFA Blockchain from the network dropdown. 

    1. Confirm you are viewing the old wallet (the wallet that currently owns the collectibles). 

    4C) Send the Collectible (NFT) 

     

    1. Select the collectible/NFT you want to transfer. 

    1. Choose Send / Transfer. 

    1. Paste your new FIFA Collect wallet address (from Step 1). 

    1. Confirm the transaction. 

    1. Approve the gas fee (paid in the FIFA Blockchain gas token). 

    1. Wait for confirmation. 

    ✅ After confirmation, the collectible should appear in your new FIFA Collect account once it refreshes/syncs. 

    Step 5 — Transfer Your USDC to Your New FIFA Collect Wallet (Avalanche) 

    USDC is on Avalanche, so transferring it requires AVAX for transaction fees. 

    5A) Make sure you have AVAX for fees 

    If you don’t have AVAX in the old wallet, you’ll need to acquire a small amount and send it to your old wallet address on Avalanche to cover fees. 

    5B) Switch MetaMask to Avalanche 

    1. Select Avalanche network in MetaMask. 

    1. Confirm you are still in the old wallet account. 

    5C) Add USDC token (if you don’t see it) 

    If USDC doesn’t show automatically: 

    1. Click Import tokens. 

    1. Add the official USDC token for Avalanche (Support/help center should provide the correct contract address). 

    5D) Send USDC 

    1. Open USDC in MetaMask. 

    1. Click Send. 

    1. Paste your new FIFA Collect wallet address. 

    1. Choose the amount of USDC to send. 

    1. Confirm and approve the transaction (fee paid in AVAX). 

    1. Wait for confirmation. 

    ✅ Once confirmed, your USDC should appear on your new wallet balance. 

     

    Final Checks 

    After transferring: 

    • Log into your new FIFA Collect account 

    • Verify: 

    • ✅ Collectibles show under Collectibles 

    • ✅ USDC shows under Balance 

    If something doesn’t show immediately, wait a few minutes and refresh. Some interfaces take time to index/sync. 

    Common Issues & Fixes 

    “I can’t send the collectible / transaction fails” 

    • You likely have no FIFA Blockchain gas token in the old wallet. 

    “I can’t send USDC” 

    • You likely have no AVAX for transaction fees on Avalanche. 

    “My NFT or USDC isn’t visible in MetaMask” 

    • Check you’re on the correct network: 

    • FIFA Blockchain for collectibles 

    • Avalanche for USDC 

    • You may need to import the token (USDC) or use a supported interface for NFTs. 

    “I sent to the wrong address” 

    • Blockchain transfers are generally irreversible. Always double-check the destination address.
