Original Charter #6

The original Charter of Football from 1905 established the statutes by which FIFA would govern the game around the world. Formulated and signed by FIFA’s original member federations, the Charter instituted that matches were to be played according to the "Laws of the Game of the Football Association Ltd" and that only the represented National Associations would be recognised.
